Grand Rapids, in the past couple of years, has proved its worthy of being tagged a "primary market."
     Regular concertgoers haven't had to drive to Detroit or Chicago to see major acts like Aerosmith and Elton John, thanks to the success of Van Andel Arena.    Other reputable local venues, such as The Orbit Room and DeVos Hall, have helped put Grand Rapids on major artists' tours.
